In addition to nursing, we provide housekeeping services.* The housekeeper follows a written service plan. There is a two-hour weekly minimum for this service, during which the housekeeper will:

  • Clean the Kitchen
  • Clean One Full Bathroom and one Powder Room
  • Dust and Vacuum the Living Room and Bedroom
  • Change Linens in One Bedroom
  • Take out the Trash

If retained for three hours, the Housekeeper will do the following chores in addition to all of the above; additional hours may include added rooms and shopping:

  • Wash, dry and fold two loads of laundry
  • Clean the refrigerator
  • Iron up to three items

Telephone Reassurance

Our telephone reassurance program offers a daily telephone safety check to vulnerable seniors who live alone. A reassurance call can save a life and keep a senior living at home independently. Residents 60 years of age and older who live alone are eligible for this service. Our reassurance calls help reduce the time that seniors are without help in case of an emergency, provide a social contact, and link the client to other home care services if necessary. We activate emergency procedures for unanswered calls.

Congregate Nutrition Centers

The goal of our congregate nutrition centers program is to provide nutritious meals in a communal setting to participants 60 years of age and older and their spouses regardless of age. We encourage clients to come out and enjoy a setting where they may socialize with others in the community and enjoy a well-balanced meal. Your loved one will enjoy a pleasant afternoon out at our friendly congregate nutrition centers’ site is exclusively for seniors. We serve great food and offer plenty of activities to choose from. Participants can meet new friends, chat, watch movies, play games, discuss the events of the day, or just relax and take it all in. We have special events, parties, outings, all planned with your special interests in mind.

Certified Home Health Aide

Our certified home health aide services are ideal for the person who needs a bit of extra assistance to remain safely in the home environment. Our home health aides are the extra set of hands needed to assist with all activities of daily living, including:

  • Personal Care
  • Bathing
  • Physical Activity/Prescribed Exercises
  • Meal Preparation
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Laundry
  • Shopping
  • Accompaniment Outside of the Home

All certified home health aide services are provided in accordance with a patient-centered plan of care developed by the RN Case Manager in conjunction with the patient’s family, personal physician, and certified home health aide. Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and can be provided in the home, hospital, skilled nursing facility, or assisted living residence.

Companion and Home Friend Service

This service is designed for those who do not need hands-on personal care but who will benefit from a companion who can supervise the client’s activities of daily living, encourage independence in self-care, shop for food and household supplies, and more. Our companions will plan, prepare, and serve meals in accordance with client’s plan of care.

If the client needs accompaniment during errands, MD visits, hair appointments, etc., our companions are here to help. We’ll assist with light household tasks and laundry, and we’ll stay alert for changes in the client’s physical and emotional well-being. All of our companions are trained in agency policies and procedures and are supervised by a registered nurse who visits at least once every 60 days.

Respite Care

Our respite program is designed for both the family and the patient. This program is integral to the emotional well-being of the primary caregiver in the family, because it affords the caregiver an opportunity to pursue personal activities on a day-to-day basis, or over an extended period, such as a vacation. The caregiver gets a much-needed break and peace of mind knowing that his or her loved one is in good hands. The respite caregiver is a certified home health aide who follows an individualized care plan and is supervised by a registered nurse.

Mobile Meals

Weekday hot meal delivery is provided to clients who are mostly homebound due to illness, physical limitation, advanced age, or inadequate cooking facilities. The meals are delivered on average, between 10am and 2pm to the client’s home by trained delivery drivers. Contact us to find out more about our meal plans and funding options.

What kind of food do we provide? All of our meals are part of a low fat/low salt diet. The only change we make to the menu are substituting desserts for our diabetic patients. For example, a diabetic patient would get a fresh fruit instead of cookies.
